๐ฅ Pattern Spotlight: Firefighter Fun, Tiny Threads, and Starry Snuggles! ๐
Hey there, yarn friends! ๐งถ
Welcome to the very first edition of Pattern Spotlights—where I shine a light on some of my favorite finished projects, both original and inspired by beloved patterns.
Each piece in today’s spotlight was made with care, love, and plenty of cozy stitches—and if you follow me on Facebook, you might recognize a few of these!
๐ Firefighter Hat & Vest Set
This set was an absolute blast to make! Inspired by the brave little hearts who dream of saving the day, this firefighter-themed hat and vest make the perfect gift for dress-up days and imaginative play.
- Yarn used: Red Heart Super Saver (because durability matters when heroes are at play!)
- Pattern base: Customized from a standard toddler vest and cap pattern

๐ป Stuffed Animal Clothes
I love creating custom clothes for plushies! These teeny outfits are always a hit with kids—and let’s be honest, they’re a blast for crocheters too. Dresses, hoodies, even little overalls—if a stuffed animal can wear it, I’ve probably crocheted it!
- Yarn used: Red Heart scraps (perfect for little makes!)
- Pattern type: Freestyle & modified doll clothing

⭐ Chunky Star Pillow
Soft, squishy, and totally huggable, this star pillow lights up any kid’s room (or cozy corner!). I made mine with plush yarn for extra fluff factor, and I love how it turned out!
- Yarn used: Red Heart Plush & Red Heart Super Saver combo
- Pattern inspiration: Adapted from a classic amigurumi-style star

Which one is your favorite? Do you have a themed project you’ve made recently? I’d love to see it—and I might even feature you in an upcoming Community Spotlight post! ๐
