In today’s post, I’m sharing my personal tips for how I carry yarn between stitches and handle color changes for smooth transitions and tidy finishes. 🧶 Carrying Yarn: If the color you're switching away from will be used again soon and the colors are similar, I like to carry the yarn through the stitches—this keeps it handy and saves time! Just crochet right over the unused yarn as you go. However, if the yarn will contrast strongly or won’t be needed again for a while, I fasten it off, pull it through the stitch to lock it in, and weave in the tail with the next row to keep everything secure and neat. 🎨 Changing Colors: Start your last stitch before the color change.
